FORTUNE TELLER

in the eyes of the fortune teller
wisdom outshines knowledge better
I, the forbidable child of sin
have come here to see my glory
in visions that can not be seen
by the purest of a shattered mind

tomorrow holds a path she says
followed by another one
sweet and pleasant full of grace
hope will be your dead embrace

but my child she speaks again
a tree remains a tree
through out spring and the wintery rain
not wishing of what it could be

THE WIDOW

laying there beside a man
bone to bone, skin to skin
trembeling fingers of the hand
try to hide the wedding ring

she knows better than to stare
pain that she can not bare
passion gotten too wild
playing with the sinful card

a wicked grin crossed her face
revelation softly follows
seeking out to be brave
while she runs the darkness grows

a little prayer escapes her mouth
she feels nothing but self pity
as her feet take her south
at the graveyard, the white city

fears aside, the truth stung
painfully being aware
exhaling deeply from her lungs
Faith in God a sin to share.

TAR

floating in the air without direction
released from the burning tar
loosing sight and orientation
of the black dove that flew too far

untouched the ash keeps on burning
phased by the baldes of light
smoke-thick air in teh yearning
sucked quickly in a fright

the bud remains, the whitness gone
ashtray full, not long cleaned
looked bright, easily shone
like the teeth of the French Queen

holding now the heavy troubles
the ashtray keeps still and waits
an Oblidged servant never blubbers
holding still for the bait

Tonight ( poezi qe ja bera shoqes time ne ditelindjen e saj)

Time tick with joy and laughter
floating daringly the wine
the sounds of the clock lost in the air
as we eat, talk and dine

empty bottles fill the floor
ashtrays full with cigarettes
no one cares for what we know
scornfully time each one gets

so cheers to you my dearest
sing and win this game tonight
for tomorrow will be my turn
to burn candels in the bright
